Hi Everyone! It's been a while....I am absolutely amazed that as I sit here and write this that it is already the 2nd day of June. Where in the world has the first half of the year gone?! Time is going by so quickly....
Sadie is almost 9 months old now. I can't even begin to fathom that in just 3 short months she will be a year old!! She changes on a daily basis -- her facial expressions, her "vocabulary", her motor skills -- every little bit about her. She's really developing her own personality (and unfortunately my temper) and I find myself amazed by her every day. She moves up to the "older infant" room at daycare on Monday, and I'm finding that I am having a bit of anxiety over the move. I guess it's because this means she's not a "baby" any more. Plus, I worry that the transition will be hard for her -- even though she has "visited" with the teachers several times over the last few weeks and half of her class is moving with her. I'll have to keep you posted on how that goes.
Sadie and I went to visit Wes, Crystal, and baby Sam on the 22nd. He's such a cutie!! And I never thought that I would see a baby with more hair than Sadie had when she was born, but Sam has about twice as much as she did!! You'll have to check out the Duncan's page to see his hospital baby photo. I swear it's the cutest picture I have ever seen; he looks like a little man!!
And, while it's been a very busy past 6 months, there is not a lot of big news. I still love my new job and think it was a great move. Todd isn't traveling anymore -- well, at least not for work. (He's been traveling on the weekends to play softball.) All in all, life is good.
